I found this VN when I was randomly browsing  YouTube.I love the way how you unfold the true story behind the game!I felt so surprised when I figured out whose perspective I was watching. The game is short but powerful.

(+1)

I also really like the style of the characters in the game.

It it okay for me to put them in my school work?

Thank you for the kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed the game and of course! Good luck with your school work!

(+1)

this was a really good VN! and very spooky, despite the small amount of screen time, I still fell in love with the child.

Thank you so much!

(+1)

I really like this game and the atmosphere it creates when playing it, I also love the way the characters are drawn, it was fun to get all the endings, so I highly recommend it!

I really love the style of this game! Too bad it's very short but nonetheless it's a fun experience .

The story is ultimately very tragic in my opinion, at the and of the day the story didn't point anyone as the ultimate bad guy. ( even though being an alcoholic can't really be considered that good )

But I really like how the story unfolded

(+1)

I agree, I don't blame the father either however, he made a very poor decision and ultimately suffered the consequences (whether deserved or not).

Thank you again for playing the game!

Hi! Stumbled upon this game cause it reminded me of a favorite creator of mine (Etherane) due to the similar art style. Unsure if you've heard of them.

I loved the reveals and the storyline structure! Pretty creepy in its own right. I'd love to see more of your work. Thanks for the game!

(+1)

OMG!! I love Hello Charlotte and Etherane's work! (just played HC2 a while ago!) Thank you that really means a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed the game!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, I studied the files of the game and found this in the folder with the images. The name says 'LambSatan'.Exuse me?

nice find! yeah this was an unused image i made back at the start of the project!

(+1)

hi i just finished most of the endings (still figuring out how to get the 5th ending..) and this game is really good!!! the art is cool too, im looking forward to your next projects if you ever do make more :] !!

thank you so much for enjoying and playing through the game (which ending is missing? some of the endings are a bit tricky to get)! i am working on a project at the moment and can't wait to release more!

(+1)

I am incredibly confused but you know what? I had fun!

thank you for playing through the game!

(+1)

No prob!!!

(+1)

so at the true ending was he let go of his eternal punishment or is he still in it

(+1)

I love your artstyle, also grandma (or her corpse) has a rather cool taste in music ;)

(+1)

thank you very much!! YESS grandma is into some hardcore beats!! :D

(+2)

A fun short story, however for me the canonical ending is the first; Lamb will not escape from the headpats.

thank you so much! and oh for sure that's gotta be my favourite ending as well :D

(+1)

No lie, your granny do be lookin' like a snacc tho...

(+2)

she's got a "bone" to pick with ya ;D (Thanks for checking out the game!)

(+1)

You have earned my respect with that pun. ;{)

Hey hey! I love the story but i have a question. May i use some of the characters as a profile picture on my social medias? I shall give credit if i use them!

hello there!! Thank you and for sure! It makes me really glad you like the characters so much you'd use them as a profile picture!

(+1)

for a story made up on the go, this was pretty good. i liked it!

(+1)

thank you!! i'm very excited to work on my next project! i'll make sure to put more thought into the story as well!

(1 edit) (+1)

I posted this on 28 of May and just forgot to mention here , but anyways, It was pretty nice playing this, super fun to get all the endings too, the story is not something fantastic or incredible but it was very enjoyable, the art is also pretty good, one of the reasons why I played it, but there are some things that I didn't like it, I might even do a review but for now is just this: Sometimes you put sounds where it doesn't work very well. The second music that plays is a little... let's say, rough? I don't know but I don't think that music fits in there, I think it would be better to put a piano or a suspense music or something like that. The font of the text doesn't go well with the textbox, it's a little ugly to see it sometimes, but anyway, this is your first VN(?) so I can let it slide, but you should really work on some of these sounds that don't fit well with the atmosphere and everything, good luck and hope to see more!

(+1)

ohh woah!! this was early!! ohh i see what you mean the second song was during the cabin scene? I will make sure to adjust the volume and choose more fitting songs in the future! I am looking into editing the text as well! Thanks again for playing the game and recording a playthrough!

(+1)

No, I was talking about the one that begins in 0:10 on the video, but the cabin one is also a song that didn't really fit in there. Both songs doesn't really match with the atmosphere for me, but it's just my opinion through, there are a lot of moments where some sounds didn't match with the atmosphere but it's not really something important or anything like that, I think the most important thing to change first is the font,  and don't worry, the volume was fine and everyone can decrease it in the menu, not really something that you should be concerned ;)

(+1)

I had a lot of fun with this. Liked the art and the story was cool! Very enjoyable game.

Thank you for playing and for uploading your playthrough online! I really appreciate it!

but what of after this true ending? he isn't completely ignorant anymore, with the deja vu so strong as real memories, this tormented soul is now enlightened, and chances are, without ignorance he will make an attempt to escape, or at least stop taking this hell of his seriously.

Perhaps he forgets everything once again? Perhaps he doesn't and the cycle continues; admittedly I had written a much different ending but decided to leave it ambiguous (also due to a lack of coding experience I couldn't quite fulfill the true ending) but I appreciate you for playing and speculating beyond the point thank you!

(+2)

thing is, it is possible for him to remember, and if the endless cycle isn't completely airtight, it wont be as endless as one may think.

this hell of his slowly becomes ineffective once memories bleed over. as fear turns to anger, and anger turns to action, not afraid anymore, such a soul would be too volatile to torture, as they say, knowledge is power, france is bacon.

I loved the art + music and liked the concept quite a lot, particularly for a first effort at making a game, but I found it a little too easy to get the true ending. Easy might not be the right word, exactly. It was the second ending I saw after the quick headpetting bad end, so it felt like I was missing a lot of context for the reveals. Still liked it, but maybe there's a way to lock a particular ending until you've seen certain key points of the story? (I've played other VNs that do this, not sure if Ren'py specifically allows for it.)

Not trying to be harsh at all, I'm not experienced with Ren'py either, but I thought it could be useful feedback. Overall I liked it a lot and I'm interested in seeing what you make in the future!

(+1)

Thank you so much!! And yes of course I believe there is a way to accumulate points and certain dialogue options will be unlocked once you reach a point threshold? It was my first time coding and the game was a bit rushed but I did have other endings in mind I just didn't have the coding experience or time to work on them especially working solo! I will keep your advice in mind for future projects I'm working on! Thank you again!

(+1)

One word: Perfect. <3

Thank you so much, you've made a good game. <3

Thank you for playing through the game and all of the endings, Amy! I really appreciate it!

(+1)

I really enjoyed the artstyle and art direction! Great job!!

Thank you, Joice!!

(+1)

This was a really neat game! I got the true ending after a few tries, and am planning to get the other 3 I didn't get yet. I love the concept that you worked with, your artstyle, and how you tied in Little Red into the whole plot. I'll update once I get the rest of the endings, but so far I really loved this game!

(+3)

I'm back from getting all of the endings! Mild spoiler warning, because I'm about to do some reviewing for each end! (Apologies for not going too in-depth haha)

Ending 1 - Well, this one was no surprise. Goodbye, degenerates!

Ending 2 - This one was an unexpected ending, but short and scary.

Ending 3 - Uh oh, the woodcutter's here! Poor Mr. Wolf was too conspicuous, I suppose.

Ending 4 - Even wolves can lose to the axe...

Ending 5 - A fitting end to someone as indecisive as me, haha!

True Ending - Heartbreaking. Poor Agnes, and I feel horrible for this family. I believe that Mr. Wolfe was definitely in the wrong, but all that torture must have broken him. Dying right then and there was probably a good way out, though I hate to say it.

Overall, I really loved this game! Short, spooky, and sad, this truly is an SSS tier game. Plot holes could have been resolved, and a true explanation would have been welcome, but overall a lovely game. Solid 4.8/5, and I hope to see more from you in the future!

Ahh!! This is so sweet! Thank you so much, Maya! I'm really glad you enjoyed the game and I really appreciate you for checking out all the endings! I love your commentaries on each one!

For sure I will enjoy making more games in the future!

(+1)

Thank you so much for replying to my comment! It was my first review, and I'm glad it was noticed. Again, I really love your game, and I'll stay waiting for more from you!!! <3

(+1)

this was so great:) love it

Thank you so much, Cristi! I really enjoyed the video!

Smol playthrough for a Little Lamb ^o^

(+1)

Thank you!! this is awesome!

(+1)

It gives a good sense of disturbance and also brings an interesting theme of tormented soul. Though warning should be added in-game, if you feel like it.

Wow!! Thank you so much for checking out the game! I look forward to watching your playthrough and I'll work on a little disclaimer in game! Thank you for the advice, Terry!

Thank you so much NewAge!! I'll work hard on the next project!!

(+1)

les goooooo jack!!! Going in, the creepy vibe and graphic stuff was not at all what I expected haha (especially since I got the true ending FIRST and all the other endings afterward)

Gotta say though, you did great on this, from the art to the backgrounds to the transitions to the story... Everything definitely lined up and fit well together. Very cute and very spooky. Only complaint I have is that I wish it was longer LOL but either way I hope you find time to do another!! Amazing work!

(+1)

Thanks nunu for checking it out!! i really appreciate it!

For sure! I have another project in there that might be a bit longer and a bit more lighthearted thanks again dude!

(+1)

howdy! the style you used here was really good, I like how at times it really complimented the story and the creepiness of everything, but it also juxtaposed it at the same time. The wolf design was very interesting! Good job! ✧( ु•⌄• )

Thank you Shewwy for checking it out!!

(+1)

Hey! I really liked the game. I haven't encountered any bugs or glitches, it worked perfectly fine. Drawings are so nice and creepy. I loved The Woodcutter and Lamb is so cute!! Not a fan of horror and thrill but I had fun playing it. I wish the game hadnt't started so suddenly though. Maybe song could start slowly and screen fades in? I rarely play visual novels so, you know better than me. Other than that, well done <3 c:

(+1)

Thank you, Marshello for playing the game! And I'm glad that there weren't any bugs phew! Ohh, thank you for the feedback on easing into the game rather than the sudden start! I will keep this in mind for future projects in the future, as for now, I'll try easing it in with a black screen! Thank you again and have a great day!
